Cocktail glasses are lined up in orchestral formation on a black piano surface. The atmosphere is flirtatious, boozy, smoky; everyone’s mood is loose and cheerful. The pictures from the series «L’Harcourt toujours, an icon reaches 170» by photographer Phillippe Jarrigeon aptly reflect the ambiance that fills the room when the Big Band strikes up a late night gig. Jarrigeon’s series is the key visual for both the CD sleeve and the promotional campaign for The Swiss Jazz Orchestra’s 2012 album, «Lucidity». MM+M added the caption, designed in the shape of a conductor’s baton. As a branding element, the caption reflects the different media united in the product and provides the program with a captivating trademark.
